About the Role:

We are seeking highly motivated individuals interested in software engineering, artifi cial intelligence, and cloud computing. Interns will participate in the full software development lifecycle, contributing to both customer-facing features and cutting-edge AI research.
This internship provides hands-on experience building production-quality software while working with modern AI coding tools, cloud infrastructure, machine learning systems, and cybersecurity applications.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications.
Develop backend APIs and services using modern software engineering practices.
Build responsive frontend interfaces using contemporary JavaScript frameworks.
Utilize agentic AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) to accelerate software development while maintaining high code quality.
Design and implement AI-powered workfl ows, automation, and intelligent agents.
Contribute to cloud-native application deployment and infrastructure. 1
Assist with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation.
Support AI infrastructure, including model deployment, vector databases, retrieval systems, and GPU-enabled workloads.
Participate in software testing, quality assurance, and code reviews.
Collaborate with cybersecurity researchers to integrate AI into real-world security applications.
Document software designs, APIs, and engineering processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
Full-stack web development (Django, FastAPI, React, Vue, Angular, or similar)
REST APIs and microservice architectures
SQL and NoSQL databases
Docker and Kubernetes
Linux system administration
AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering
AI agent frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar)
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and embeddings
Machine learning using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) concepts or implementation
MLOps tools and model deployment
Automated software testing and test-driven development
Cybersecurity concepts and secure software development practices
Requirements:
  • Current Arkansas state resident
  • Ability to pass a standard background check
  • Ability to work 32-40 hours a week during the three-month internship 
  • Ability to work full-time in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorship
  • Technical aptitude exhibited through projects, experience, or online learning and the ability to communicate what you know
  • Experience programming in Python.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented software development.
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and version control using Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently within a collaborative engineering team.

$15 - $15 an hour
