We are currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer (React | Spring Boot | AI) - Hybrid/Onsite to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and support modern enterprise web applications. This role is ideal for an engineer with deep expertise in React, Java, Spring Boot, and API development who enjoys building scalable, secure, cloud-based applications while collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams.

Approximately 60-70% of the role is focused on front-end development using React and modern UI frameworks, with the remaining effort dedicated to backend API development, integrations, and application services.

You will partner with architects, product owners, UX designers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software while helping drive adoption of AI-powered development practices and automation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, debug, document, and maintain enterprise web applications.
  • Build responsive, scalable user interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend architecture.
  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Design and consume REST, SOAP, and JSON APIs for enterprise integrations.
  • Build reusable UI components and contribute to enterprise design systems and component libraries.
  • Develop applications using Micro Frontend Architecture, Module Federation, and monorepo strategies.
  • Collaborate with architects and technical leaders to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure applications meet enterprise security standards, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure session management.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated testing, and production deployments.
  • Evaluate and implement AI-assisted development tools and modern automation solutions to improve engineering productivity.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation and mentor junior developers as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend architecture.
  • 5+ years working with Redux Toolkit, React Hook Form, and enterprise React ecosystems.
  • 5+ years designing and maintaining Design Systems and Component Libraries (Fluent UI, Material UI, Storybook, or similar).
  • 5+ years of experience implementing Micro Frontend Architecture, Module Federation, and monorepos.
  • 5+ years developing and integrating REST, SOAP, and JSON APIs.
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and automated deployment practices.
  • 2+ years designing or developing AI-powered solutions using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Devin AI, or similar GenAI technologies.
  • 2+ years applying secure application development practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, secure session management, and protection against common web vulnerabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or other cloud platforms.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, Draw.io, or similar collaboration tools.
  • Experience integrating electronic signature platforms (DocuSign, Adobe Sign, etc.).
  • Experience developing applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Experience working in enterprise Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience integrating AI services, LLMs, or AI APIs into enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across distributed teams.

Pay Transparency

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $91,960 - $156,600. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. 

This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, lifeand AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
