• Provide psychotherapy to clients experiencing mental health concerns in conjunction with substance abuse recovery, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that address individual needs and utilize best practices and solution-focused interventions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements, ensuring that patient records are up to date and securely managed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care for clients, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about available mental health and substance abuse resources, fostering understanding and empowerment in the recovery process.
• Stay abreast of the latest research in mental health and substance abuse treatments and integrate these findings into your practice to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
• Effectively manage your caseload, consistently meeting treatment objectives and upholding the highest ethical standards in practice.

The clientele at Blue Ribbon Social Work consists of diverse individuals facing complex challenges related to substance abuse and mental health. Clients may include adolescents and adults experiencing various substance dependencies and co-occurring mental health disorders. Your role will involve tailoring interventions to meet the unique circumstances of each patient, promoting both resilience and recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited educational institution.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience focused on substance abuse therapy, demonstrating a strong understanding of the unique needs in this field.
• Proficient in solution-based interventions and therapeutic methodologies relevant to substance abuse treatment.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and collaborative teamwork skills.

While our minimum requirement is one year of clinical experience, we value practitioners with additional years of experience in substance abuse and mental health settings who are familiar with treatment protocols and innovative approaches in fields like trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflective of your experience and contributions to our mission.
