As an LICSW at Evolve, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing psychotherapy to individuals dealing with mental health issues directly related to substance abuse recovery.
• Conducting thorough assessments and developing detailed treatment plans that employ effective, evidence-based interventions.
• Administering various therapeutic approaches—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—to facilitate patients’ recovery.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records in accordance with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and enhance patient health outcomes.
• Educating patients and their families about available mental health and substance abuse resources to foster a greater understanding of their journey.
• Staying current with the latest research in the field of mental health to integrate new findings into your practice and enhance the quality of care.
• Managing your caseload effectively while meeting established treatment goals and adhering to ethical practices.

You will be working with a diverse group of clients, including adults and adolescents facing substance use disorders along with co-occurring mental health conditions. To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LICSW license within the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience, particularly in the realm of substance abuse therapy.
• A thorough understanding of solution-based interventions to support effective treatment outcomes.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills that foster teamwork and collaboration.

While not mandatory, additional experience in specific areas such as crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, or working with specific populations (like the elderly or marginalized communities) will be advantageous and enhance your application.
