As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Main Street Social Work, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing psychotherapy to individuals experiencing mental health challenges in relation to substance abuse treatment.
• Conducting thorough assessments and developing person-centered treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions.
• Administering various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist clients in their recovery journey.
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes for clients.
• Educating clients and their families on mental health resources and support systems pertaining to substance abuse.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development by staying current on relevant mental health research and integrating new information into practice.
• Managing a full caseload while ensuring that treatment goals are met and that ethical standards are upheld throughout your practice.

Your work at Main Street Social Work will involve engaging with a diverse client population, each facing unique challenges related to substance abuse and mental health issues. Clients will range from young adults to older adults, and you will have the opportunity to provide tailored support that addresses their specific backgrounds, experiences, and recovery needs.

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience focused on substance abuse therapy.
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and solution-focused interventions.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills capable of fostering effective client relationships.

While a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience is required, candidates with additional experience in the field of substance abuse treatment—especially in a remote setting—will be prioritized. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth methodologies is also advantageous.
