Position Overview

Main Street Social Work is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions for clients dealing with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Perform thorough assessments and collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based and solution-focused interventions.
  • Utilize therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate behavioral changes and support clients during their recovery process.
  • Maintain detailed, compliant clinical records that reflect consultations, treatment progress, and interactions with clients.
  • Engage in regular communication with your multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and ensure that clients receive well-rounded support.
  • Educate clients and their families about available mental health resources and promote self-advocacy.
  • Continuously stay informed on the latest research in substance abuse treatment and mental health to ensure the application of best practices in your work.
  • Manage an active caseload while striving to meet treatment goals, service delivery standards, and ethical guidelines.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse patient population comprising individuals struggling with addiction and concurrent mental health challenges. Our clients vary in age, background, and experiences, and our approach is designed to meet their specific needs through compassionate, culturally-sensitive, and individual-centered care.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Pennsylvania is essential.
  • A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, particularly related to substance abuse therapy, is necessary.
  • Thorough understanding of evidence-based and solution-focused therapy approaches.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with patients and colleagues.
Preferred Experience

In addition to the basic qualifications, we prefer candidates who have experience in a substance abuse treatment setting, familiarity with telehealth platforms, and a demonstrated ability to engage clients in a virtual environment. A background in working with diverse populations and knowledge of community resources will be considered advantageous.
