As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting secure and confidential remote therapy sessions with clients, assessing their unique emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial needs.
• Performing thorough assessments that inform personalized treatment plans and tailored intervention strategies designed to facilitate client growth and safety.
• Delivering immediate crisis intervention support, ensuring that the health and safety of clients are prioritized during challenging times.
• Assisting clients in navigating community resources and support services that can augment their overall well-being, from housing assistance to social services.
• Maintaining precise and confidential electronic medical records, documenting progress notes and treatment strategies in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborating with fellow clinicians, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams to provide a holistic approach to client care.
• Educating clients on effective coping skills, self-care practices, and strategies for effective communication to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay updated on advancements in clinical social work and teletherapy best practices.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and technology effectively.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently in a remote environment.
• Flexibility to accommodate client needs, including scheduling across different time zones.

While not mandatory, the following qualities are preferred:

• Experience working in a community health setting or non-profit organization.
• Trainings or certifications in specialized therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy tools.
