• Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for students experiencing significant mental health challenges, including anxiety and depression.
• Implement and monitor evidence-based therapeutic interventions, providing individual, group, and family therapy as necessary to foster student growth.
• Collaborate with educators and school personnel to identify students in need of support, facilitating the integration of mental health services within the educational framework.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and reporting requirements.
• Conduct crisis interventions and provide immediate support to students in distress, utilizing effective de-escalation techniques.
• Participate in training and professional development to stay updated on the latest best practices in social work and mental health.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary to improve client outcomes.
• Engage with families to provide education on mental wellness, ensuring they understand their child’s needs and the importance of supportive environments.
• Actively contribute to team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to enhance service delivery and improve organizational effectiveness.

The LCSW will primarily work with children and adolescents in a school-based setting who are facing various mental health challenges, ranging from mild emotional disturbances to severe mental illnesses. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique socio-emotional issues that affect youth today, including the impact of trauma, family dynamics, and academic pressures. • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a diverse and multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions tailored to children and adolescents.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a focus on children and adolescents.

• Experience in crisis management and intervention strategies.
