Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of students’ psychosocial needs by evaluating emotional, social, and academic factors affecting their well-being.
• Developing and implementing personalized intervention plans that align with students' needs and promote positive behavioral changes.
• Providing individual and group counseling sessions to students, helping them navigate personal challenges, life transitions, and stressors.
• Collaborating with parents and teachers to facilitate communication and support academic success, implementing strategies that enhance educational outcomes.
• Advocating for students' access to mental health resources and community services, ensuring they receive crucial support when needed.
• Maintaining accurate, timely documentation of assessments, counseling sessions, and follow-up activities in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on children and adolescents who are experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. By engaging with students in a school environment, the LCSW will directly influence their academic and personal successes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida is required.
• A minimum of two years of social work experience, particularly in a school or clinical setting, is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of child development, social work principles, and community resources relevant to youth.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills that foster positive relationships with students and their families.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for effective client management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
