This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. The role involves liaising with schools across Reading, Pennsylvania, fostering strong connections with faculty, parents, and support staff to provide effective mental health services. • Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and standards.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary health care team to develop comprehensive treatment plans, including individualized discharge planning based on psychosocial assessments.
• Engage with families and support systems in the treatment process, providing guidance and consultations focused on promoting positive outcomes for students.
• Assess and document client needs to create tailored treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices that address their specific circumstances.
• Conduct regular counseling sessions with students, providing therapeutic interventions and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Monitor patient progress through systematic evaluations, utilizing appropriate tools and methodologies to inform therapeutic approaches and enhance recovery outcomes.

This role will focus on a diverse population of students in need of mental health support. You will work with children and adolescents facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your expertise will be vital in creating a safe and supportive environment for these individuals, enabling them to overcome challenges and thrive in their academic and personal lives.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in clinical social work, particularly within outpatient or school settings.
• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Current Associate or Licensed status with the Board of Behavioral Sciences is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative in both clinical documentation and billing processes are essential.
