• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings for individuals with major mental health issues, proactively identifying their needs and risks.
• Develop and implement integrated care plans that ensure comprehensive support, linking clients to necessary services and resources.
• Provide brief, focused prevention and recovery services that empower clients, helping them navigate their treatment process and achieve better outcomes.
• Establish trust and rapport with clients through empathetic communication and active listening, facilitating a safe environment for recovery.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, sharing insights and strategies to enhance collective outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to guide treatment strategies and ensure that care remains effective and relevant to client needs.
• Actively participate in training and development opportunities to stay current with practices, policies, and ethical guidelines within the social services and mental health fields.
• Respond to clients’ evolving needs by adapting care plans and approaches based on feedback and measured progress.
• Maintain accurate records, documenting all client interactions and care plans, adhering to the ethical guidelines set forth by regulatory bodies.

The successful candidate will work intensively with individuals experiencing symptoms related to major mental illnesses and severe emotional disturbances. The Detox Center caters to a diverse patient population, many of whom may face unique challenges related to socio-economic status, cultural backgrounds, and traumatic histories. Successful engagement with these clients requires a non-judgmental, informed, and culturally competent approach to care.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy, active listening, and the ability to establish professional relationships.
• Commitment to inclusivity and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a strong understanding of mental health issues.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health or social services setting, particularly with clients experiencing addiction and mental health disorders.
• Proven experience developing and implementing integrated care plans, tracking progress, and adapting treatment strategies as needed.
• Previous work experience in a remote role, demonstrating effective communication and collaboration skills in a digital environment.

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
