Key Responsibilities
  • Engage directly with assigned clients through both remote communication and occasional community visits, addressing their mental health needs and providing therapeutic support.
  • Establish and maintain rapport and trust with clients, ensuring a supportive and respectful therapeutic relationship.
  • Conduct evidence-based assessments, brief interventions, and skill-building sessions tailored to each client’s development and needs.
  • Create and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, ensuring access to necessary resources and services.
  • Deliver a range of interventions, including prevention, treatment, and recovery services, aimed at improving mental health outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to advance common objectives and enhance overall client care.
  • Document interactions and treatment plans thoroughly in compliance with organizational and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role is on individuals experiencing significant challenges due to mental illnesses, including but not limited to major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, and severe emotional distress. You will work with a diverse population, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of providing culturally competent care.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
  • Strong commitment to the mission of Phoenix Behavioral Hub and a passion for supporting underserved communities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build positive and trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working in community health settings or with underserved populations.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficiency in documentation practices.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care practices.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
