• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the social, emotional, and environmental needs of clients, taking an individualized approach to treatment.
• Create and implement personalized service plans that align with client goals and effectively track progress over time.
• Provide one-on-one counseling and family therapy sessions, helping clients navigate their challenges and develop coping strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to identify necessary resources in the community and facilitate access to these services.
• Deliver crisis intervention and risk assessments when necessary, ensuring a commitment to client safety and well-being.
• Engage in outreach activities to promote awareness of agency services, contributing to community engagement efforts.

The Hartford Mental Healthcare Center serves a diverse client population, including individuals and families managing complex social issues. • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on cultural competence.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems in high-pressure situations.

• Previous experience working within a social service agency or in a similar context is preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care methodologies and their implementation in counseling settings.
