Position Overview

Supportive Living Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time, remote position. This role focuses on providing essential support and advocacy to individuals and families navigating the challenges associated with substance use disorders. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, utilizing tools such as clinical interviews and standardized assessment instruments to inform your evaluations.
  • Offer individual and group counseling sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to the unique challenges of clients with substance use disorders.
  • Create and implement detailed service plans aimed at achieving clients' therapeutic goals, documenting progress and making adjustments as needed in collaboration with clients.
  • Advocate for clients' rights by navigating complex systems to ensure they have access to crucial resources, including housing, healthcare, and additional community services.
  • Contribute to our program development efforts by participating in evaluation processes and assisting in grant writing to secure funding for impactful community initiatives.
  • Engage in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and share insights, fostering a collaborative approach to client care.
  • Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives designed to raise awareness about social justice issues and available resources.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with clients undergoing detoxification and transitioning into recovery. Your interactions will be grounded in trauma-informed care principles, focusing on empathy and understanding of the multifaceted challenges these individuals face. You will empower clients through therapeutic relationships, equipping them with the skills and support necessary for recovery and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
  • Strong foundation in trauma-informed practices and a commitment to social justice is crucial.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational skills are imperative for this role.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a nonprofit organization or similar community-focused setting is preferred, particularly in substance use disorders.
  • Familiarity with community resources and advocacy efforts related to mental health and addiction is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
