Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health status, diagnosing when necessary through employing standard instruments such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
  • Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans with patients and their families, ensuring these plans are culturally sensitive and tailored to meet the diverse needs of the patient population served.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions and strategies to monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans proactively based on ongoing evaluations to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Accurately prepare and maintain all clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in treatment record-keeping.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and external treatment providers, coordinating referrals, and fostering collaborative partnerships to enhance patient care.
  • Engage in educational activities, mentoring students, interns, and volunteers, sharing knowledge and best practices within the team to support the overall development of clinical expertise.

Qualifications
