This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while still being integral to a collaborative team that interacts regularly with various healthcare providers and school personnel. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients, utilizing recognized clinical tools like the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to inform an individualized plan of care tailored to each patient's cultural and special needs.
• Continuously monitor the progress of your patients, crafting and adjusting interventions based on their evolving mental health statuses and immediate needs.
• Document treatment records and clinical reports with accuracy and timeliness using current healthcare technologies, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans that achieve agreed-upon outcomes, emphasizing patient safety and symptom management.
• Coordinate referrals to appropriate treatment providers and maintain effective working relationships with other clinicians to facilitate patient support throughout the care journey.
• Provide mentorship and support to students and interns in the field, fostering an environment of learning within our team.
• Engage in peer reviews and quality assessments to contribute to team development and strengthen care delivery processes.

As an LCSW within our organization, you will primarily focus on supporting children and their families grappling with the psychological complexities following a cancer diagnosis. Your approach will include empathy, active listening, and evidence-based therapeutic strategies aimed at helping these individuals navigate their emotional landscapes effectively.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work.
• Current and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical role related to mental health, with a focus on providing therapeutic support to patients dealing with chronic or terminal illnesses.
