This LCSW position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule that promotes work-life balance. We offer full-time opportunities with scheduling options of either four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days, ensuring our employees can create a work environment that suits their personal and professional needs. • Provide psychotherapy and counseling to clients, including individuals, families, and groups, focusing on emotional and mental health support.
• Conduct thorough assessments through interviews to gather pertinent social, environmental, and healthcare information that informs treatment plans.
• Evaluate clients' challenges and develop effective treatment strategies within the clinical scope of practice.
• Implement and coordinate therapeutic programs and activities that cater to the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients.
• Facilitate cognitive and behavioral health interventions, addressing urgent matters with short-term crisis resolution strategies and resource referrals.
• Establish trusting relationships with clients, promoting an environment of respect and acceptance throughout the therapeutic process.
• Analyze the efficacy of treatment services, adjusting approaches as necessary for optimal client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client records in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Assume responsibility for a manageable caseload, ensuring supportive follow-ups and documentation of progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage in community resource networking as needed.

The LCSW will work primarily with hospice patients and their families, providing critical end-of-life care support. This includes addressing emotional barriers, helping navigate the complexities of grief, and facilitating family dynamics during challenging times. The ideal candidate will approach each case with empathy and cultural sensitivity, respecting the diverse backgrounds and needs of our clientele.

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in Virginia.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster rapport with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

• A minimum of four years of experience in clinical social work, preferably in a hospice or palliative care setting.
• Prior experience providing counseling for mental health issues, including depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, grief, and family therapy.
• Demonstrated capability in crisis intervention and the ability to liaise with community resources to support patients and families effectively.
