• Provide individualized therapy sessions to a diverse range of clients, including students and their families, addressing emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Conduct assessments and create tailored treatment plans that focus on the unique needs of each client, ensuring a personalized approach to therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting progress notes and treatment outcomes in a timely manner using our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Coordinate care with school staff, educators, and other mental health professionals to develop comprehensive support strategies for clients.
• Manage scheduling for ongoing appointments, ensuring regular and consistent therapy sessions for optimal client engagement.
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions aimed at improving emotional regulation, social skills, and coping mechanisms for a variety of clinical presentations.

This position primarily focuses on serving school-aged children and their families, guiding them through challenges that may impact their academic performance and personal development. Our therapeutic approach is rooted in building resilience, enhancing social-emotional learning, and fostering a safe, supportive environment for all clients.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology is required.
• Current LCSW license to practice independently within the state of New York.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional therapeutic boundaries and cultural competence when working with diverse populations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, including a commitment to meet client and organizational deadlines.
• Self-motivation and a proactive approach to continuing education and professional development are essential.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.
• Significant training and/or experience providing therapy to couples is a plus.
• Previous experience utilizing a billing service to manage client accounts and insurance claims would be beneficial.
