Job description

About Snorkel
At Snorkel, we believe meaningful AI doesn't start with the model, it starts with the data.
We're on a mission to help enterprises transform expert knowledge into specialized AI at scale. The AI landscape has gone through incredible changes since 2015, when Snorkel started as a research project in the Stanford AI Lab, to the generative AI breakthroughs of today. But one thing has remained constant: the data you use to build AI is the key to achieving differentiation, high performance, and production-ready systems. We work with some of the world's largest organizations to empower scientists, engineers, financial experts, product creators, journalists, and more to build custom AI with their data faster than ever before. Excited to help us redefine how AI is built? Apply to be the newest Snorkeler!
As an Engagement Manager at Snorkel AI, you will lead high-impact AI initiatives for enterprise customers, owning delivery from initial scoping through value realization. You will partner with senior business and technical leaders to shape AI/ML use cases, orchestrate cross-functional teams, and launch solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. Operating at the intersection of delivery, strategy, and growth, you will help define what great AI delivery looks like while scaling Snorkel's Enterprise AI Solutions Practice.
Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to shape AI/ML use cases and translate them into well-defined projects, including proposals and Statements of Work.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise AI projects, ensuring execution on time, within scope and budget, and aligned to business outcomes.
  • Manage comprehensive project plans and related artifacts to ensure successful delivery and compliance with contractual and financial targets.
  • Identify expansion opportunities through adjacent use cases, new stakeholders, and additional datasets where Snorkel can deliver outsized value.
  • Serve as the primary interface between client C-suite, Snorkel's technical teams, and Snorkel leadership, orchestrating multiple workstreams to deliver integrated outcomes.
  • Develop and continuously refine best practices, templates, and delivery frameworks to make engagements scalable and repeatable.
  • As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of complex National Security problems.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years in a technical, client-facing role (e.g., management consulting, professional services delivery, or customer success).
  • Strong background in project delivery and collaborative problem-solving, ideally within AI/ML initiatives or involving standard AI technologies.
  • Proven ability to understand client objectives, design solutions, and identify value-aligned growth opportunities.
  • Track record of overseeing a portfolio of engagements, balancing resources and timelines across multiple customer projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for broad audiences.
  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA or Master's in computer science, applied statistics, mathematics, or related field).
  • Experience reviewing and drafting responses to federal Requests for Comment (RFCs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), etc. is preferred.
  • Experience working across the Civilian, DOD and NATSEC agencies, inclusive of experience in Federal Law Enforcement, Healthcare, Financial/Regulatory and Military operations and logistics.
  • Candidates must have an active TS security clearance
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% based on client needs.
