Job description

Position Overview

Clason Mental Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our innovative team in providing compassionate, effective mental health care to clients from the comfort of their homes. In this remote role, you will use your credentials as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW to offer telehealth services that meet the needs of low-acuity clients seeking guidance and support. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality clinical care while administrative tasks are managed efficiently by our team, allowing you to fully concentrate on your practice.

About the Organization

Clason Mental Health Clinic is committed to enhancing mental health accessibility and quality through telehealth services. Located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, we strive to provide a supportive environment for both clients and therapists. Our cutting-edge online platform facilitates timely and effective interactions, making it easier for patients to connect with qualified professionals. At Clason, our mission is to empower individuals to achieve optimal mental well-being with personalized, evidence-based treatment.

Work Environment

This full-time, remote position allows you to work from anywhere while engaging directly with clients through secure telehealth technology. The operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. By employing a flexible scheduling model, we support a healthy work-life balance, enabling you to deliver exceptional care without sacrificing personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive online assessments to identify the mental health needs and goals of each client.
  • Create tailored care plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches, ensuring each client receives the attention and strategies they require for improvement.
  • Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that empower clients to actively participate in their treatment journey.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical notes, treatment sessions, and client progress, adhering to all ethical and legal requirements.
  • Utilize digital health tools and resources to enhance the therapeutic process and collaborate with clients effectively.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training opportunities, broadening your clinical skills and staying current with industry standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Clason Mental Health Clinic caters primarily to individuals with low-acuity mental health needs. Our clients come from various backgrounds and require support for conditions such as anxiety, mild depression, and adjustment disorders. By employing a remote model, we can reach underserved populations, including those living in rural areas where access to qualified mental health care professionals is limited.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure in Tennessee as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in good standing.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with a diverse clientele.
  • Proficiency with technology and telehealth platforms to deliver services efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy or counseling services, ideally in a remote environment.
  • Experience working with a diverse client population and a strong understanding of cultural competence in mental health care.
Compensation and Benefits

Clason Mental Health Clinic offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the monetary rewards, our employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid leave and a 401(k) retirement plan. Life insurance is also provided, ensuring additional financial security for you and your loved ones.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Clason Mental Health Clinic, your professional growth is a priority. We provide ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and specialized training in emerging therapeutic practices. As you grow within our organization, you will have the chance to mentor new staff and take on leadership roles, contributing to the advancement of our mission and the enrichment of our community.
