Job Description: @VOTE is seeking a Small Business and Corporations Strategic Specialist to lead voter outreach efforts within the small business community and corporations. Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to, cultivating partnerships with local business owners, entrepreneurs, and business networks to promote civic engagement and increase the use of voter outreach and tools to their customer base. Day-to-day tasks involve outreach to business owners, coordinating civic engagement campaigns, and working with internal teams on event planning and reporting. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial-minded, relationship-driven, and passionate about empowering businesses to support civic participation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify and build partnerships with small businesses and corporations to support voter outreach and registration.
  • Plan and execute voter-focused campaigns and events within small business spaces.
  • Equip business owners to share voter registration tools with employees, customers and their broader networks.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and programs teams to create initiatives specifically tailored for small business audiences.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on business participation, engagement levels, and impact metrics.
  • Stay informed on economic, political, and business trends that affect engagement strategies and partnerships.
  • Develop toolkits and resources to help businesses integrate voter engagement efforts into their workplace culture.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong familiarity with small business culture, operations and communication styles.
  • Proven relationship-building and partnership development skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of professional audiences.

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
