Better You Mental and Wellness Center is actively seeking a licensed and experienced Mental Health Therapist, specializing in mood disorders, to join our innovative and compassionate team. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a telehealth setting. Our team utilizes the latest teletherapy technology to facilitate seamless interactions between therapists and patients. You will have access to a robust digital platform that enables secure communication, comprehensive record-keeping, and tracking of patient progress. Our work hours are primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some optional evening and weekend hours available on a rotational basis, offering flexibility to accommodate a variety of schedules.

• Conduct detailed assessments to determine the severity and characteristics of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized tools and observational techniques.
• Collaborate closely with clients to construct individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored for effective mood disorder management.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, strategically discussing treatment options and self-care practices that promote mental health maintenance.
• Continuously monitor clients’ progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to foster improved outcomes and ensure therapeutic effectiveness.
• Engage in teamwork with psychiatrists and other medical team members, facilitating a holistic approach to patient care via integrated treatment strategies.
• Stay informed about contemporary research and evolving best practices in the field of mood disorders to enhance treatment approaches and patient care solutions.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all client interactions are securely logged.
• Contribute to case consultations and professional development sessions that promote continuous learning and collaboration within our therapy team.
• Act as a strong advocate for clients, striving to destigmatize mental health challenges while supporting the needs of the community.

You will specifically work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Your role will encompass providing compassionate care and evidence-driven treatment to help these clients navigate the complexities of their conditions. Ensuring that all clients feel understood, respected, and supported is a cornerstone of your work.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in the treatment of mood disorders.
• Solid expertise in evidence-based treatment strategies, with proficiency in CBT and DBT.
• Comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacological principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and medical professionals.
• Demonstrated success in treating mood disorders, evidenced by strong relationships with clients and effective outcomes.
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on establishing rapport with diverse client populations.

While two years of experience is required, candidates with specialized training in advanced therapeutic techniques or additional certifications related to mood disorders will be highly regarded. Experience in community mental health or hospital settings that include telehealth offerings may also be beneficial.

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by performance bonuses and a sign-on bonus. We provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
