Skilled Laborer
Location: Ashburn, VA
Pay: Up to $30/hour (Based on Experience)

Skillforce is seeking dependable and hardworking Skilled Laborers for a project in Ashburn, VA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work alongside a respected contractor supporting maintenance operations on specialized cooling equipment used in large industrial facilities/data centers.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have strong mechanical abilities, and can follow detailed instructions while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with routine maintenance activities on outdoor cooling equipment

  • Remove and replace air filtration components as directed

  • Clean equipment coils and related system components to support optimal performance

  • Operate hand tools and basic maintenance equipment safely and effectively

  • Follow established procedures, work instructions, and project schedules

  • Adhere to all site-specific safety requirements and company policies


Qualifications
  • Previous experience in general labor, maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred

  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn new processes quickly

  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
