Life Edge Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our innovative team. As a remote mental health counselor, you will work in a telehealth setting that allows you to reach clients from the comfort of your home while leveraging technology to facilitate meaningful connections. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients’ mental health needs, challenges, and aspirations, employing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.
• Deliver individualized therapy sessions to clients across various age groups and backgrounds, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
• Develop collaborative treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs, setting measurable and achievable goals that align with best clinical practices.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and stabilization for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring their safety through effective risk assessment and management strategies.
• Inform and educate clients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies while directing them toward community resources for additional support.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate client records, including documenting assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Uphold ethical guidelines set forth by professional governing bodies while maintaining a client-centered approach at all times.
• Demonstrate cultural competence by being sensitive to the diverse backgrounds of clients and addressing their unique needs and perspectives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

This role involves serving a diverse population seeking mental health support, including adults, adolescents, and their families. Clients may face a variety of challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, mood-related issues, trauma recovery, and adjustment difficulties. Your expertise and compassion will play a crucial role in supporting their unique mental health journeys.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or equivalent credential, such as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• A minimum of three years of relevant, clinical experience providing outpatient mental health services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical practices, evidence-based therapy methods, and a strong understanding of mental health assessment techniques.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Commitment to professional ethics, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine desire to support diverse populations.

• Experience in telehealth service delivery, adapting therapeutic approaches for an online environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telecommunication platforms used in mental health services.
• Specialization or additional training in therapy methods related to trauma, anxiety, or depression would be advantageous.

The position offers a competitive salary range between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
