You'll spend significant time using design software to create or revise sign concepts, incorporating feedback and ensuring the designs comply with client brand standards and local regulations. Collaboration often happens virtually through video calls or design review platforms, and you may also coordinate with printers or fabricators about production requirements. Familiarity with industry-standard design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD programs is typically required, and knowledge of print production processes is beneficial. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and clear communication skills help designers efficiently manage projects and collaborate with clients and team members remotely. These skills ensure the creation of effective, visually compelling signage that meets client needs and adheres to project deadlines.
