• This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct counseling sessions from the comfort of your own home.
• We offer a flexible work schedule tailored to your needs, with full-time options (over 30 hours/week) as well as part-time arrangements (minimum of 5 hours/week).
• You will be provided with a user-friendly counseling platform which allows for seamless interactions with clients through video chat.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Delivering ethical and empathetic mental health counseling services via secure video conferencing tools.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs, followed by the development of personalized treatment plans that consider their unique circumstances.
• Empowering clients by helping them cultivate effective coping mechanisms, communication strategies, and problem-solving skills that can lead to improved overall mental health.
• Documenting session notes efficiently while minimizing paperwork to maximize your time spent with clients.

This role focuses on providing mental health support to adult clients experiencing low-acuity mental health issues. This means you will work with individuals who largely function well but may benefit from professional guidance to navigate life challenges such as stress, anxiety, mood fluctuations, or transitional periods. Your support will be pivotal in enabling them to lead fulfilling, productive lives.

To be considered for this dynamic role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current and valid state license in mental health counseling (e.g., LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, or PsyD).
• Independent licensure without supervisory requirements.
• A clean professional record without any disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with proficient computer literacy.
• Reliable internet connectivity to facilitate uninterrupted counseling sessions.

While the qualifications listed are essential, experience in telehealth counseling or a strong understanding of remote therapy practices will be seen as advantageous. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities can enhance your effectiveness in this role as you work with clients towards their mental health goals.
