• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients’ trauma histories, which guide the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients in their healing journeys.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on processing trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and enhancing resilience.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating your capacity to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to manage difficulties.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to the organization’s commitment to quality care.
• Participate actively in case consultations and professional development activities that focus on trauma-informed care and intervention strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest research and innovation in trauma therapy, allowing for the continuous enhancement of patient outcomes.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals affected by trauma, including adults dealing with the aftermath of physical, emotional, and psychological trauma. Our patients often exhibit symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression. As a mental health counselor, your focus will be on understanding each patient’s unique experiences and challenges, fostering a safe therapeutic environment where they can navigate their healing journey.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.
• A strong theoretical foundation and practical application of trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in therapeutic relationships.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.
• Experience in delivering evidence-based trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Prior experience in a telehealth setting is an advantage, adapting to virtual healthcare delivery.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
