Job description

About Multi Media, LLC
Multi Media, LLC is the company behind Chaturbate, one of the most heavily trafficked live streaming platforms in the world. We support a global network of independent content creators and millions of real-time viewers, delivering interactive video at scale. Our infrastructure handles complex broadcasting, low-latency streaming, and high-engagement user experiences. All live, all the time.
We're building a platform where creators can express themselves freely and grow their communities, where viewers discover and interact with creators they're drawn to, and where the team behind it is challenged, trusted, and responsible for shaping the experience of millions of users around the world. We value people who take initiative, stay curious, and care deeply about the quality and impact of what they build.
The Role
We're looking for a Tech Lead Manager to lead the team, which builds the systems that power personalized experiences, experimentation, audience targeting, and content delivery across our products. This team plays a critical role in helping the company deliver the right experience to the right user at the right time, and in building the platform foundation needed to scale that over time.
In this role, you'll partner closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business strategy into engineering roadmaps and scalable systems. You'll help clarify complex problem spaces, make thoughtful technical decisions across multiple services, and ensure the team builds the right foundation to support increasingly sophisticated experimentation and user personalization.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on technical leadership with people management, stakeholder alignment, and long-term platform strategy.
You Will
  • Lead and develop a small team of engineers responsible for experience optimization systems across personalization, experimentation, audience generation, and content delivery.
  • Help build and scale the platform that powers personalized, in-session experiences for users across the site.
  • Create clarity in ambiguous problem spaces by connecting technical constraints, business priorities, and user experience goals.
  • Coach and mentor engineers on technical decision-making, execution, and career growth.

Requirements
You Have
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience leading engineering teams as a people manager, technical lead, or Tech Lead Manager.
  • Strong software engineering background with experience working across full-stack systems, with a backend-heavy focus.
  • Strong backend experience in languages such as Go or Python.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with Product, Design, and other cross-functional partners to drive technical direction, roadmap planning, and execution across complex, user-facing platform systems.
  • Ability to define technical direction in ambiguous spaces and break broad goals into actionable plans for a team.
  • A track record of mentoring engineers and helping teams raise the bar technically and operationally.

Bonus Points:
  • Experience building systems related to experimentation, personalization, segmentation, audience targeting, or decisioning is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and experience with modern frameworks such as Django or Flask.

Benefits
What You'll Get
  • Fair and competitive base salary
  • Fully Remote Optional
  • Health, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance for you and any dependents, with policy premiums covered by the Company
  • Long & Short term disability insurance
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Annual Year-End Company Closure
  • Optional 401k with 5% matching
  • 12 Paid Holidays
  • Paid Lunches in-office, or if Remote, a $125/week stipend via Sharebite
  • Employee Assistance and Employee Recognition Programs
  • And much more!

The Base Salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000 USD. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation or benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across the US for the posted position. A candidate's specific pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the candidate's job-related skills, relevant education, training, experience, certifications, and abilities of the candidate, as well as other factors unique to each candidate.
Please note: All offers from Multi Media, LLC are made only after a structured, multi-step recruiting process that includes live interviews, followed by a verbal offer before any written agreement is extended.
