Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions that create a safe and supportive environment for clients to share their experiences and learn from each other.
• Providing empathetic individual therapy sessions where you help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, aiding them in developing personalized coping strategies and action plans.
• Collaborating with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and goals.
• Monitoring progress throughout the treatment process, utilizing various assessment tools and feedback methods to evaluate client outcomes effectively.
• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the utmost quality of care for each client, involving regular communication and consultation on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with young adults dealing with a range of mental health challenges and mood disorders. Understanding the unique experiences and hurdles of this demographic will equip you to provide tailored support and care. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field, such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure.
• Experience in mental health treatment, with a focus on mood disorders within residential or outpatient settings.
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for fostering positive change through teamwork.
• Strong clinical skills including expertise in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation requirements in a remote service context.
