This position provides the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing you to deliver services directly to students in collaboration with schools across Freeport, New York. You will utilize advanced telehealth technologies to conduct therapy sessions, making it possible to connect with students in a comfortable setting that is conducive to open communication. The remote nature of this role allows for balanced work-life integration while maintaining an essential presence in local schools.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions through secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring appropriate therapeutic interventions tailored to each student’s needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, incorporating evidence-based practices to address specific mental health concerns.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including educators, school psychologists, and administrative staff, to coordinate care and support student success.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards and regulations, utilizing mental health documentation systems for optimal efficiency.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when needed, ensuring immediate access to help for students facing acute challenges.

Your work will focus primarily on school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a range of concerns from anxiety and depression to behavioral issues and adjustment challenges. You will engage with diverse populations, understanding cultural backgrounds and unique experiences that may influence each student’s mental health journey. Your ability to create a safe, supportive space will be essential for fostering trust and encouraging open dialogue with clients.

• Licensure: Must hold an active LCSW licensure in the state of New York.
• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of clinical social work experience is necessary, preferably within a school or youth-focused setting.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively collaborating with students, families, and colleagues.
• Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to work empathetically with individuals from diverse backgrounds, showcasing sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic factors.

• Prior experience working in telehealth or remote service delivery is preferred, equipping you with the skills to navigate virtual counseling modalities effectively.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
