Sentara Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time remote position. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while serving clients primarily within school settings. You will work from home, utilizing digital platforms to conduct therapy sessions and collaborate with team members. • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, identifying individual strengths and challenges.
• Provide tailored individual, family, and group therapy sessions, integrating culturally competent practices into your approaches.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy, to inform treatment planning and intervention.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that clearly outline therapeutic goals, interventions, and methods for monitoring progress.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and nurses, ensuring holistic care delivery.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, which includes conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans tailored to individual concerns.
• Advocate for the rights of clients, facilitating connections to community resources and providing case management support as necessary.
• Engage in community outreach and initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness and expanding access to resources.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including children and adolescents in school environments. Your work will encompass addressing a wide array of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral issues. The ability to empathize and connect with clients from various cultural backgrounds is essential, as this diversity enriches our therapeutic approach and outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to cultural competence in mental health practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate the complexities of client needs and treatment planning.

• Previous experience in a community mental health setting or similar environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with school-based mental health services is a plus.

The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
