POSITION SUMMARY Butler, Fairman and Seufert (BF&S) is seeking Project Manager/Engineer to work out of our Lafayette office. The position will work with the site team to develop and deliver private, state and locally funded projects throughout the state of Indiana. The candidate will be responsible for working with clients on site developments of various size and scope.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with developing project scope, schedule, and budgets for new projects

Assist in constructability reviews of projects and with utility work plans Work closely with and mentor young engineers and CAD designers. Coordinate with other support departments and sub-consultants for all projects elements. Assist with developing proposals for private and state projects.

Review, approve, and perform design calculations. Review drawings and develop plans for multiple projects at one time while maintaining and prioritizing schedules. Review drawings and develop plans for new site and reconstruction projects.

Ability to meet with existing and new clients to discuss project needs and recommendations. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Minimum 6 years of site development experience.

Indiana PE license or the ability to obtain one within negotiated period of time Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks at one time. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate needs to clients and staff.

Occasional travel throughout the state of Indiana for meetings or onsite construction administration. Work outside of normal business hours if required for meetings.
