Senior Health Data Modeler (Healthcare EDW) – Remote
Remote (Must reside within the Continental U.S.)

We are seeking a Senior Health Data Modeler to support large-scale healthcare data warehouse and analytics initiatives. This role will focus on enterprise data modeling, data governance, healthcare data architecture, and cloud modernization efforts within a complex healthcare environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys designing scalable data solutions, collaborating with architects and engineers, and influencing enterprise data strategy.
Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Translate business requirements into scalable data warehouse solutions
  • Develop dimensional, normalized, and analytical data models
  • Create and maintain ERDs, data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage documentation
  • Support data governance, data quality, and compliance initiatives
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders
  • Define data standards, relationships, keys, and performance optimization strategies
  • Support cloud modernization and enterprise analytics initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of IT experience
  • 7+ years of enterprise data modeling experience
  • Strong healthcare data experience, including Medicaid, Medicare, claims, provider, and member data
  • Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and database design
  • Experience with data governance, metadata management, data quality, and MDM
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Dimensional Modeling
    • Star/Snowflake Schemas
    • Data Vault
    • OLTP / OLAP Concepts
    • Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs)
  • Experience with Erwin, ER/Studio, or similar data modeling tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
