As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Providing in-depth counseling and crisis intervention for patients, encompassing a thorough assessment and tailored treatment for a range of emotional and behavioral issues.
• Collaborating with family members and support systems to create comprehensive client treatment and discharge plans that address their needs holistically.
• Communicating effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and healthcare professionals, to update them on patient progress, concerns, and emerging needs.
• Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation, including accurate progress notes and treatment reports in compliance with established policies and regulations.
• Engaging in regular development sessions with your healthcare team to craft individualized treatment strategies based on psychosocial assessments and evidence-based interventions.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals challenged with anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. We prioritize mindfulness and solution-focused therapy, aiming to assist our clients in developing coping skills and strategies tailored to their needs. Your observations and insights will directly influence their growth and healing journey.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling or a related field.
• A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional counseling experience providing direct client services.
• A foundational knowledge of diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning methodologies.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office and electronic medical records systems.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following attributes will be favored:

• Previous experience in a community health or clinic setting.
• Expertise in mindfulness-based therapies and cognitive-behavioral strategies.
• Experience working with varied populations, particularly in culturally sensitive contexts.
