The Senior Integrated Design Manager provides advanced leadership across multiple projects, buildings, or campuses, serving as a technical and process leader within the Integrated Design Management function. This role expands upon traditional projectlevel design management by actively integrating schedule, cost, constructability, and systemlevel priorities earlier and more deliberately in the design process.

Within the IDM organization, this role serves as the seniormost daytoday technical authority across multiple active projects, providing leadership, guidance, and integration without displacing established project ownership. Senior Integrated Design Managers operate with a strong owner mindset, ensuring design decisions support longterm business objectives while maintaining project momentum. This role includes mentoring Integrated Design Managers, leading complex coordination efforts, and reinforcing standard IDM practices.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead Integrated Design Management efforts across multiple projects or buildings within a campus or region.
• Drive early alignment on critical systems, design assumptions, and highcost scope elements.
• Maintain accountability of thirdparty design teams for design quality, schedule adherence, and decision readiness.
• Lead structured design reviews, decisionfocused coordination meetings, and technical alignment discussions.
• Ensure consistent application of design gating, internal ADC project requirements including CDE, CCL, technical bulletins, and risk tracking practices.
• Coordinate development and maintenance of project risk registers from land enablement through turnover to Operations.
• Partner closely with Senior Construction Managers to align design decisions with construction sequencing, constructability, and execution needs.
• Support development and maintenance of standardized design durations, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Provide mentorship, functional guidance, and technical leadership to Integrated Design Managers and Associate Integrated Design Managers.
• Assist in preparation of project dashboards, quarterly updates, and leadership communications.
• Support customer interface activities during fitout design and technical integration as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, KPI development, and refinement of IDM tools, workflows, and best practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent
• 9 or more years of experience managing complex commercial or missioncritical design programs
• Strong data center or other technical industry design and construction background
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and mentor junior team members
• Deep understanding of design coordination, system integration, cost drivers, and constructability
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Smartsheets, and design management platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel out of home market, up to 25 percent. Time-on-site will vary by project by need.
