The Opportunity:
With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our government every day, we need an intel analyst like you to do just that. As an ORSA, you use your specialized operations research experience and your attention to detail to develop reports to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support AI governance.
As an intelligence analyst on our team, you'll help your client understand testing and evaluation of AI systems. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you'll explore new data sources, develop effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources. You'll validate information and develop tradecraft as you build assessments for AI assurance. As the authority on your topic, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure.
This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset into areas like data science. You'll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you'll have resources to learn new skills and tools.

You Have:
  • Experience with DoW or IC
  • Ability to analyze, report, and develop recommendations and assessments on data related to operational metrics
  • Ability to develop decision support tools and models using operations research principles
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Data Science, Operations Research, or Engineering, and 8+ years of experience solving operational challenges and analytic problems by designing, developing, and applying decision analytics, mathematical and statistical techniques, or modeling and simulation or 12+ years of experience solving operational challenges and analytic problems by designing, developing, and applying decision analytics, mathematical and statistical techniques, or modeling and simulation in lieu of a degree

  • Experience in IC domains including all-source intelligence, planning, operations, or targeting
  • Ability to work a non-standard or shift schedule
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
