To excel as a Remote Security Clearance Engineer, you need a strong background in systems engineering, cybersecurity principles, and a valid security clearance, typically supported by a relevant degree. Familiarity with technical tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and secure communication platforms, as well as certifications like CISSP or Security+, are commonly required.
