To thrive as a Remote SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test), you need expertise in programming languages like Java or Python, strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, and a relevant degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with automation frameworks (such as Selenium or Cypress), CI/CD tools, and version control systems like Git is typically required.
