Our team operates through collaborative digital platforms that foster communication and teamwork among clinicians, medical staff, and support personnel. Regular virtual meetings, case consultations, and inter-team workshops ensure that every team member is aligned in delivering consistent and effective patient-centered care.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to determine each patient’s mental health status, strengths, and specific needs, ensuring detailed documentation of findings.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement coordinated care plans that address the multifaceted needs of patients.
• Assist patients and their families in understanding diagnoses, treatment options, and medications, providing clear explanations and resources as needed.
• Facilitate individual therapy, as well as therapeutic groups and psychoeducational sessions to enhance patients' understanding and coping strategies.
• Develop detailed treatment plans that incorporate patient preferences and goals, ensuring active participation in their recovery journey.
• Guide patients through the complexities of the mental health system, advocating for their rights and supporting them in accessing necessary resources.
• Engage in discharge planning meetings to ensure smooth transitions and continued support for patients leaving the detox facility.

In this role, you will primarily support individuals in a detoxification center who are coping with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and related challenges. Your work will focus on providing empathetic and informed guidance to help patients regain stability and lay the foundation for ongoing recovery.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and crisis intervention skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

• Experience in substance abuse treatment or mental health settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth tools and virtual therapy practices.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic models specifically targeted for varied client populations.

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, Scripps Care Center offers a competitive sign-on bonus to attract top talent.
