What is remote scoring?

Remote scoring is the process of evaluating tests, assignments, or assessments from a location outside of a traditional office or testing center, typically from home. Remote scorers review and grade student responses according to standardized rubrics provided by testing organizations or educational companies. This job usually requires a computer, internet access, and sometimes specific qualifications or experience in education or a related field. It offers flexibility and can be a good option for those seeking part-time or seasonal work.

What are remote scoring jobs?

A remote scoring job is a position in which you evaluate test scores while working from home. Your responsibilities may include checking a standardized test with an answer key or providing feedback response on essays or short answer questions through a secured software application. Your duties involve completing test calibration, using scoring applications, and reporting the results. You calculate test performance online and usually have no direct contact with the test takers. Remote scoring jobs offer a flexible schedule, and you may work for multiple companies at the same time.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote scorer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Scorer, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a background in education or assessment, often supported by a bachelor's degree. Familiarity with online scoring platforms and secure digital communication systems is typically required. Excellent written communication, time management, and the ability to work independently are critical soft skills in this role. These skills ensure accurate, consistent evaluation of student work and effective collaboration with remote teams, which are essential for maintaining assessment integrity.

What are the common challenges faced by remote scorers, and how can they be effectively managed?

Remote scorers often encounter challenges such as maintaining focus during repetitive tasks, managing time effectively, and ensuring consistency in scoring according to provided rubrics. Working independently can also lead to feelings of isolation, so staying connected with team leads and peers through regular virtual meetings is important. To overcome these challenges, it helps to establish a structured work schedule, take regular breaks, and actively participate in training sessions to stay updated on scoring guidelines. Collaborating with fellow scorers and seeking feedback from supervisors can also enhance accuracy and job satisfaction.

Growth Specialist

Mach7 Technologies

Burlington, VT • Remote

Full-time

Job description

This is a remote position.

Title: Growth Specialist

Team: Sales

Reporting to: VP, Growth & Market Development

Location: Remote (US)

About the Role

Mach7 Technologies helps healthcare providers unify and manage their diagnostic imaging, which are the systems that store, move, and display medical images across a hospital or health network. We are a global, publicly listed company (ASX: M7T) with the pace of a startup and the purpose of enterprise healthcare. We’re hiring a Growth Specialist to be the hands-on engine of our marketing programs. This is a HubSpot-first role: you’ll build and run the campaigns, nurture flows, and report that turn marketing activity into qualified pipeline. You’ll also own the logistics that make our events run smoothly. You’ll work directly with the Growth leader on a small, fast-moving team where your work is visible and your impact is measurable.

What You'll Do

· Own HubSpot execution. Build and QA emails, landing pages, forms, workflows, and lead-scoring; keep the database clean, segmented, and healthy. You’re the person who actually makes the platform work.

· Run campaigns end to end. Take a campaign brief and turn it into live, on-time assets across email, web, and social — coordinating with design and content along the way.

· Coordinate event logistics. Handle the operational side of trade shows, webinars, and customer events: registration, vendor and booth coordination, pre-event promotion, and post-event lead capture and follow-up in HubSpot. (Strategy stays with the team — you make it run.)

· Report on what’s working. Pull funnel, campaign, and event performance into clear, repeatable reports so the team can see what’s driving MQLs and pipeline without leadership having to build every view.

· Keep the data connected. Maintain list hygiene and lead lifecycle/routing and help keep our CRM data consistent as records move between systems.

· Support content and demand gen. Schedule and repurpose social content, manage assets, and assist with paid and organic programs as they scale.

What We're Looking For
Required

· Deep HubSpot skills (required). Hands-on experience building workflows, lead scoring, landing pages, forms, and reporting, not just sending emails. HubSpot certifications are a strong plus.

· 2–4 years in B2B marketing operations, demand gen, or a growth/marketing coordinator role.

· A self-starter who thrives remotely, is organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable owning execution with light oversight.

· Strong attention to detail. You catch the broken link, the wrong merge field, and the un-tagged list before they ship.

· Clear communicator who can turn a rough brief into a finished deliverable and ask the right questions to fill the gaps.

· Fluent with AI tools. You use AI (Claude in particular) to research, draft, and ship faster, with the judgment to know when to trust it and when to check its work. We’re an AI-forward team and expect you to make the most of these tools.

Preferred

· Event coordination experience (trade shows, webinars, or field marketing).

· Healthcare, med tech, or regulated B2B/SaaS background. Comfortable working within brand and compliance guardrails.

· Hands-on experience with AI marketing tools for content, campaign, or workflow automation (bonus if you’ve built with Claude).

· Basic design fluency (Canva or similar) for quick asset turnarounds.

We recognize that candidates bring diverse experiences and backgrounds. If you don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply! Many strong candidates don’t check every box. We value potential, growth, and impact as much as experience.

What Success Looks Like

In your first year, you’ll be measured on:

· Program throughput campaigns and assets shipped accurately and on schedule.

· Pipeline contribution: MQLs sourced and influenced through the programs and events you run.

· Event execution: events that run smoothly, with leads captured and followed up promptly.

· Data trust: HubSpot reporting the team can rely on without double-checking.

About Mach7

Mach7 Technologies helps healthcare organizations bring all their medical images together in one place so they can be easily accessed, shared, and used to support patient care. Our enterprise imaging solutions, including a vendor-neutral archive (VNA), enterprise PACS, the eUnity enterprise diagnostic viewer, and tele-radiology workflows, consolidate imaging from across the enterprise into a single, accessible source of truth. Built on open standards, including DICOM and a configurable HL7 engine, and free from proprietary data lock-in, our technology lets providers store, view, and share images on their own terms. The result is a simpler, more connected imaging environment that puts data ownership back where it belongs: with the people delivering care. Your data, your infrastructure, your choice.

AI Expectations

· Integrate AI into daily work — leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency, elevate quality, and support smarter, faster decision-making.

· Apply critical human judgment to AI output — review, validate, and take full accountability for AI-assisted work, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

· Continuously improve through AI — proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes, rethink workflows, and challenge existing approaches rather than maintaining the status quo.

· Use AI responsibly and ethically — safeguard sensitive information, adhere to company guidelines, and actively identify risks such as bias, inaccuracies, or misuse.

CLIMBS Culture Code
