OVERVIEW

Simpson Healthcare, an established scientific agency, has been a dedicated partner to clients in the life sciences industry for over20 years. We are seeking aProject Coordinator, Medical & Scientific Communicationsto join our growing team within IQVIA in support of both new & ongoing client relationships.

The Project Coordinator is an integral part of our team at Simpson Healthcare. Our Project Coordinators are primarily responsible for coordination of ongoing projects with our clients across the life sciences, supporting an array of services including brand strategy, KOL development, advisory boards, speakers bureaus, trainings, and a host of other live & virtual events.

In this role, you'll have the ability to work within a dynamic, team-oriented environment focused on impacting the welfare of healthcare providers and their patients through our partnerships with clients across the healthcare industry landscape.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Support

  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures and support team as needed with PIT Crew, Basecamp, CCR, Good to Go, and Weekly client update meetings SOPs

  • Develop and maintain effective working knowledge of disease state and client product

  • Support project team by creating materials as requested, tracking items through internal review, making edits as needed

  • Ensures overall quality, quantity, accuracy, timeliness and tracking of all project deliverables

  • Assist with the development, writing, and communication of project plans

  • Deliver project pieces that meet client goals and exceed expectations around quality, visualization, scientific content, and timeliness

  • Ensure consistent pull through of client branding elements in sales tools, collateral and visual aids, and proposals

Client Relations

  • Support project team in maintaining regular contact with clients to ensure expectations are met

  • Assist with synthesizing client feedback for implementation

  • Collaborate with internal project team members and departments including Scientific Services, Interactive, and Marketing to ensure client expectations are being met

Brand Management

  • Establish meaningful, professional relationships with various client stakeholders, including gaining understanding of their individual roles, communication preferences, personal motivators, and the desired outcomes for the brand and for the team

  • Ensure Simpson's brand is properly represented and promoted throughout client interactions, communications, and deliverables

  • Promote and deliver service levels which are sustainable and allow for efficient delivery of a quality product

  • Provide data, decisions and delivery of services in support of client, project and community success

Organic Business Growth

  • Assist with internal routing of Statements of Work (SOWs) for review, ensuring materials are shared with appropriate stakeholders and tracked through approval

  • Request opportunity numbers (Opp #s) and maintain accurate records to support project setup and contracting processes

  • Track SOW and opportunity status, escalate delays as needed, and maintain organized documentation in alignment with internal workflows

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience required

  • 1+ years of client service experience, preferably within the life sciences or medical communications industry required

  • Strong communicator both in written and verbal forms with a proven ability to effectively establish and nurture client and internal relationships

  • Strong organization, time management, and project management skills

  • Ability to leverage internal and external relationships to the benefit of the project, client, and Simpson

  • Must be efficient and skilled at using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc.)

  • An efficient and persuasive speaker and writer who can communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences

  • Great team player with a strong drive and willingness to take initiative

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $46,600.00 - $116,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
