Job description

We are looking for an experienced Talent Advisor (Recruiter) to support our client, an established, mission-focused healthcare organization, in hiring for a specialized network of clinical laboratories that play a critical role in delivering complex diagnostic and transfusion support services. This role is ideal for a recruiter with deep experience sourcing for medical technologist and reference laboratory positions, particularly in regulated and time-sensitive environments.


 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for laboratory-based roles including Medical Technologists, Clinical Laboratory Scientists, and SBB-certified specialists.
  • Proactively source qualified candidates via direct outreach, university partnerships, professional associations, and talent pipelines.
  • Screen and assess candidates for both technical proficiency and mission-aligned values.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure staffing coverage for 24/7 laboratory operations, including emergency response roles.
  • Maintain all applicant records using Workday ATS and People Science’s proprietary recruitment platform, Hiregate.
  • Contribute to DEI-focused hiring strategies and long-term workforce planning in specialized laboratory environments.


 Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience in healthcare or clinical laboratory settings.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and credentialing requirements (e.g., CLIA, ASCP, AABB).
  • Experience hiring for technical lab roles such as MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or SBB(ASCP)-certified professionals.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred) and various sourcing tools.


Preferred

  • Prior clinical laboratory experience or education (e.g., degree in Medical Laboratory Science).
  • Relationships with MLS or SBB training programs and relevant professional organizations.
  • Passion for serving mission-driven, high-impact healthcare work.
