Position Objective
OneEnergy is seeking an experienced commercial and/or utility-scale solar Lead O&M Technician for theย Midwest region. The Lead O&M Technician will report to the Associate Director O&M and work hand inย hand with Operations Analyst, Lead Design Engineers, Subcontractors, and other support staff. Theย position will have responsibility for assisting the O&M team in reviewing a portfolio of project siteย activities, including safety, Maintenance, compliance, Quality Assurance and Quality Control both on-site and through remote measures. The Lead O&M Technician will provide advance levelย commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance testing support our Operations and Maintenanceย Portfolio

Responsibilities:
Provide portfolio level oversight to the O&M team that is responsible for day-to-day operationsย oversight on solar projects located within a geographical region.
Engage with the on-site contractors and various other project stakeholders as OneEnergy's primaryย project contact person supported by the O&M team.
Provide team support in efforts to develop, maintain, and ensure the team's consistent bestย practices for jobsite safety, quality, and subcontractor management.
Provide mentorship, and oversight of your O&M team, as the lead for accountability, quality andย safety on OneEnergy's project.
Review construction/operational requirements and provide improvements to OneEnergy standardsย and procedures to maintain quality and safety on our projects.
Help facilitate and support other O&M team communications of project requirements andย expectations between on-site Staff, Procurement, Engineering and Administrative staff to ensure allย customer project needs and internal administrative requirements are met.
Help foster and support efforts to continually improve operational methods for value and efficiency.ย Collaborate with Field Engineering and Delivery PMs to update and communicate learned field bestย practices that allow OneEnergy to maintain an industry leadership position.
Review and improve OneEnergy requirements for contractor adherence to HSE and Contractย obligations through on-site and remote oversight and standard process improvement.
Provide leadership and support for the O&M team as a technical lead for troubleshooting,ย energization, commissioning, witness test and capacity testing.
Create and foster continuous improvement between internal teams, utilizing tools, and creatingย company processes where needed.
Operate in a professional, responsible, and collaborative manner with all project participants.
Communicate all internal and external party performance, attendance or quality concerns with theย Associate Director O&M.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of Solar O&M, construction and/or technical project experience.
OHSA-30 Certification preferred, but not required.
Demonstrated track record of success in solar energy or related field.
Strong attention to detail with organizational capacity to manage multiple employees and projectsย simultaneously.
A proven ability to provide high level of safety and expertise during high-risk activities likeย energization, testing, commissioning and operational support.
Self-motivated with proven ability to take ownership, initiative, and accountability.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to manage competing priorities often across functional and operational lines.
Ability to contribute to an amicable working environment with other associates and employees.
Position requires frequent travel, approximately 25-50% in the field, depending on time of year.
Proficient PC computer skills and familiarity with MS Office and Windows. Experience inย construction management software (Procore, Autodesk Build, MS Project, etc) a benefit
