About the Role
As our Manager of Finance Platforms, you are responsible for supporting the ongoing evolution and optimization of the Finance technology ecosystem. This role serves as the day-to-day steward of all finance applications. This product owner will work closely with Accounting, Finance, Accounts Payable, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, and Enterprise Technology teams to drive continuous improvement, process automation, platform adoption, and operational excellence. This individual will help manage product backlogs, prioritize enhancement requests, document business requirements, coordinate testing activities, and ensure finance systems continue to scale with Lovesac's growth.
This position is remote and will report into Lovesac Corporate HUB based in Stamford, CT.
Candidates must fully reside in the United States at all times during employment and should have the ability to travel as needed.
What You'll Do
Product Ownership & Roadmap Support
  • Support the Finance Platform roadmap and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage and prioritize enhancement requests across finance applications.
  • Maintain product backlogs, user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in defining future-state business processes and technology capabilities.
  • Track platform KPIs, adoption metrics, and operational performance.
NetSuite Platform Support
  • Serve as a key liaison between Finance users and ERP engineering resources.
  • Support optimization of NetSuite financial processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting, Revenue Recognition, and Month-End Close.
  • Coordinate testing and validation for system changes and enhancements.
  • Assist with release planning and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Financial Applications Ownership
  • Support the day-to-day operation and enhancement of NetSuite ERP, Mineral Tree, Concur, Navan, Avalara, Trintech, StrongPoint, Wdesk, and future finance automation platforms.
  • Coordinate vendor discussions, issue triage, enhancement prioritization, user support, and training.
  • Translate Finance needs into clear product requirements for internal teams and external partners.
Business Process Improvement
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve and automate Procure-to-Pay, invoice processing, expense management, corporate card management, tax calculation, vendor payments, cash management, financial close, and audit readiness processes.
  • Identify manual workarounds, root causes, and scalable process improvements across Finance operations.
Project Delivery, Governance & Enablement
  • Participate in enterprise transformation initiatives and support Finance workstreams during system implementations, upgrades, and process changes.
  • Track risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and action items to help ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with business goals.
  • Support SOX compliance requirements, access reviews, control validation, and audit readiness activities.
  • Maintain process documentation, workflows, operating procedures, knowledge articles, training materials, and user guides.
  • Promote adoption of new capabilities and serve as a trusted partner to Finance stakeholders.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties for this role as requested by management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required.
  • 5-8 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Finance Systems, or ERP-related role.
  • Experience supporting financial systems or ERP platforms.
  • Understanding of finance and accounting business processes.
  • Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exemplify each of our Lovesac values, at all times, be results driven and utilize knowledge to meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), goals and deadlines.
  • Must be able to travel using various forms of transportation, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for mandatory meetings and conferences held either at our offices or offsite (i.e. quarterly team connection weeks, companywide meetings and events, vendor visits).
  • Must comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the Lovesac Employee Handbook and work collaboratively with fellow employees, treating all clients, both internal and external with dignity and respect at all times.

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP.
  • Experience with Concur, Navan, Mineral Tree, Avalara, or similar financial applications.
  • Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Month-End Close, and Tax Management processes.
  • Experience supporting SOX-compliant environments.
  • Agile/Scrum experience and retail or omnichannel business experience.
