Fairwinds Technologies is accelerating the next evolution of global connectivity—and we’re looking for a high‑impact Account Manager who’s ready to ride the excitement surrounding AST SpaceMobile and the explosive growth of the Non‑Terrestrial Network (NTN) ecosystem.

If you’re energized by cutting‑edge space technology, groundbreaking 5G innovation, and the opportunity to directly shape how the DoD connects in the most contested environments on Earth (and above it), this is your role.

As our Next Generation Networks AM, you’ll spearhead strategic sales of Fairwinds’ hybrid terrestrial‑satellite solutions—including AST‑integrated rugged broadband terminals, sovereign 5G NTN hubs, and global Network‑as‑a‑Service offerings. You will be a key driver in making space‑based cellular a reality for U.S. defense missions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the go‑to‑market strategy for AST‑enabled and NTN products.

• Promote Militarized AST Broadband Devices, AST Tactical Hub Systems, and Global Private 5G + NTN Services.

• Build relationships with AST SpaceMobile, DoD stakeholders, SOCOM, SOCPAC, SOCEUR, INDOPACOM, NRO, DARPA, DIU, MDA, SDA, SSC, DISA, and LEO ecosystem partners.

• Lead federal and commercial sales opportunities aligned with AST and NTN deployments.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to tailor mission‑specific solutions.

• Represent Fairwinds at major industry events and demonstrations.

• Maintain Salesforce pipeline, revenue forecasts, and KPIs.

• BA/BS degree required.

• 7+ years selling advanced communications solutions to DoD/federal agencies.

• Proven success in SATCOM, 5G, or NTN technologies.

• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Experience navigating complex sales cycles.

• TS or Higher DoD Security Clearance Required.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Knowledge of 3GPP, Open RAN, and M5GW technologies.

• Familiarity with Fairwinds’ mixed‑signal products and NaaS.

• Experience with NTIA/FCC coordination.

Location: Remote (DC/MD/VA)

Travel: 20%–50%

Compensation:
