Job description

The Business Development Representative will proactively uncover software and value added services opportunities with property managers on 3rd party property management platforms and within our customer base. This position will identify specific prospect or customer needs in alignment to the value the offering solves. This position will also work cross functionally with Marketing and Customer Success teams to ensure prospect and customer has needs addressed.


  • Research, email, and call prospects and/or customers using SFDC database and third party tools such as Zoominfo and Salesloft
  • Establish communications for new and value added services business opportunities
  • Achieve daily call and email metrics to facilitate pipeline and/or closed won deal quota achievement
  • Personalize value-based outreach to understand prospect or customer pain points and provide recommendations
  • Generate new pipeline through inspiring prospects and/or customers to take the next step in the sales process
  • Partner and strategize directly with a closing Sales Consultant in 1:1 pairing Complete additional tasks as assigned to support the work of the department/company Participate in training designed to prepare you to excel throughout your sales career
  • Carry out all responsibilities in an honest and professional manner Qualify prospects based on the sales process and book meetings with appropriate Sales Consultants
  • Continue to work with Sales Consultants to ensure a smooth transition, and a successful sales process through to closed won business
  • Work cross functionally with Marketing and Customer Success teams to ensure prospect and customer has needs addressed
  • May partake in hiring process
  • Receive career development enablement specific to the BDR level to prep for a closing sales role.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 6+ months of experience with proven success in a prior BDR role (3+ months if internal)
