Job description

We are building a best-in-class Lead-to-Invoice platform entirely within Salesforce, enabling our teams to see the work, do the work, and invoice the work - all from a single system of record. This developer will own the architecture, build, and delivery of a seamlessly connected pipeline spanning Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud (formerly CPQ), Field Service / Project Management, and Billing, surfaced through Experience Cloud portals and Lightning Web Components.

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience with production deployments

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required); Platform Developer II preferred

  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification strongly preferred

  • Revenue Cloud / Billing implementation experience on at least one enterprise project

  • Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, LWC (JavaScript/HTML), and Salesforce Flows

  • Demonstrated experience building and consuming REST APIs in a Salesforce context

  • Experience with Salesforce DX, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and bulkification patterns

  • Experience with Experience Cloud portal development (Community Builder / LWR sites)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification

  • Experience with Salesforce Field Service (FSL) or Salesforce Projects

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein Analytics / CRM Analytics for pipeline and billing dashboards

  • Experience integrating with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, QuickBooks Online)

  • Knowledge of DocuSign CLM or Conga for contract generation and e-signatures

  • Exposure to Salesforce Shield, Event Monitoring, or Field Audit Trail for compliance use cases

  • Background in a service-based or project-delivery business (consulting, construction, IT services, professional services)

Familiarity with Snowflake or other data warehouse platforms for analytics integration

Revenue Cloud / CPQ & Billing

  • Configure and extend Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ) for complex product catalogs, bundling, pricing rules, and approval workflows

  • Build and maintain Quote-to-Contract flows including DocuSign or native e-signature integration

  • Set up Revenue Cloud Billing: invoice schedules, payment terms, tax integration, and revenue recognition rules

  • Implement amendments, renewals, and co-termination logic in CPQ

Lightning Web Components (LWC) & Experience Cloud

  • Build custom LWC components for quoting, project status dashboards, time/expense entry, and invoice previews

  • Develop and maintain Experience Cloud portals for customer-facing project tracking, document access, and invoice approval

  • Implement real-time data updates using the Lightning Data Service (LDS) and platform events

  • Ensure responsive, accessible UI design following WCAG 2.1 guidelines within Experience Cloud

Flows, Process Automation & Triggers

  • Architect and build complex Screen Flows and Record-Triggered Flows for guided selling, project intake, and invoice generation

  • Write bulkified, test-covered Apex triggers and handler classes following trigger framework best practices

  • Replace legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builder automations with modern Flow equivalents

  • Design escalation, SLA, and entitlement processes using Salesforce Entitlement Management

Salesforce Integration

  • Integrate Salesforce with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) for GL posting, AR, and payment reconciliation

  • Build and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations and Platform Events / Change Data Capture (CDC) consumers

  • Implement middleware-aware integration patterns (MuleSoft, Boomi, or custom Node/Python middleware)

  • Manage Connected Apps, Named Credentials, and OAuth flows for secure third-party authentication

  • Design idempotent outbound callout patterns respecting Salesforce async limits

Salesforce Projects & Field Service

  • Configure and extend Salesforce Projects (or Salesforce Field Service) for task management, resource scheduling, and milestone tracking

  • Build time and materials tracking tied directly to CPQ billing milestones and invoice triggers

  • Implement Gantt-style project views via LWC or approved AppExchange components

  • Create automated status updates and customer notifications as project milestones are completed

DevOps, Quality & Governance

  • Maintain Salesforce DX (SFDX) project structure with scratch org development and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Copado, or Gearset)

  • Write Apex unit tests achieving 85% code coverage with meaningful assertions

  • Conduct peer code reviews and enforce org-wide development standards

  • Manage sandbox strategy (Dev, QA, UAT, Staging Production) and release schedules

  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams and data dictionaries
