We are hiring a Senior Salesforce Applications Engineer !!
The Senior Salesforce Applications Engineer is the technical engine of our commercial systems, responsible for the development, configuration, administration, integration, and maintenance of the Salesforce platform and its integrated applications. This role provides production support, resolves complex technical issues, and delivers scalable solutions that enable commercial operations in a fast-paced, agile environment.
This position can work remotely with in the US, but must be willing to come into any of our locations, as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide dedicated production support by managing support tickets, troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, implementing timely bug fixes, and delivering system enhancements to ensure platform stability, scalability, and performance.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, Flows, Validation Rules, Lightning App Builder, Apex, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Perform Salesforce administration activities including user management, security configuration, profiles, permission sets, roles, page layouts, record types, reports, dashboards, and data management.
• Configure, customize, and support CPQ, including Products, Product Bundles, Price Books, Pricing Rules, Quote Templates, Product Configuration, Guided Selling, Approvals, and Quote-to-Cash processes to meet evolving business requirements.
• Partner with the Solutions Architect to translate conceptual designs into technical specifications, ensuring all solutions align with established architectural standards and Salesforce best practices.
• Design, develop, and support integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and integration platforms.
• Build, maintain, and optimize secure API integrations while ensuring data integrity, system reliability, and high application performance across Salesforce and connected business systems.
• Manage Salesforce deployments, environment comparisons, and release management using CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
• Adhere to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices by conducting code reviews, maintaining technical documentation, performing deployment validation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support data migrations, ETL processes, and ongoing data quality initiatives across Salesforce and integrated applications.
• Proactively identify opportunities to reduce technical debt by leveraging declarative Salesforce capabilities while implementing custom programmatic solutions when necessary for scalability and performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives while collaborating with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions while providing technical recommendations, solution alternatives, and effort estimates.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on Salesforce development and administration experience
• Proven experience supporting Commercial/Sales Operations with a strong understanding of Lead-to-Cash and Quote-to-Cash business processes.
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud.
• Experience configuring Products, Product Bundles, Price Books, Pricing Rules, Quote Templates, and Quote-to-Cash processes within Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud.
• Demonstrated experience providing production support, resolving incidents, managing support tickets, and implementing system enhancements in enterprise Salesforce environments.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and secure authentication methods.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments, collaborating with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver iterative, business-driven Salesforce solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Solution Architects and Product Owners by providing technical feedback, solution recommendations, and effort estimations.
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple concurrent priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong Salesforce Administration experience, including user management, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, security model, reports, dashboards, page layouts, record types, data management, and platform configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, Lightning App Builder, Dynamic Forms, and declarative automation.
• Proficiency in Apex (Triggers, Classes, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Future Methods), SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) for enterprise-scale development.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ and/or Revenue Cloud, including configuration of Products, Product Bundles, Price Books, Pricing Rules, Quote Templates, Product Configuration and Quote-to-Cash processes.
• Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, OAuth authentication, web services, integration patterns, and secure data exchange with external business systems.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications using middleware, APIs, platform events, and asynchronous integrations.
• Strong understanding of relational data modeling, Salesforce data architecture, ETL tools, data governance, and complex data migration strategies.
• Proficient in Salesforce release management, Version control, branching strategies, deployment automation, rollback strategies, CI/CD processes, and DevOps best practices to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools for sprint planning, backlog management, user stories, and release execution.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on production support, incident resolution, and continuous platform improvement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

Estimated starting annual base salary pay ranges is $120,000 - $130,000, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances.
