Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to support the launch of a new delivery program in the region. In this role, you will recruit and onboard local businesses into the Delivery Partner program. You’ll work closely with a Field Manager and other team members to prospect, engage, and convert qualified businesses while building strong community relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to prospective businesses in targeted markets (up to a 2-hour driving radius)
- Present and promote the program to generate interest and drive applications
- Qualify businesses and guide them through the application and vetting process
- Track lead activity and manage pipeline within Salesforce
- Support planning and execution of local recruitment events (e.g., lunch-and-learns, town halls, networking events)
- Collaborate with community partners (Chambers of Commerce, economic development groups, etc.)
- Import and maintain lead data in Salesforce (including weekly Excel uploads)
Work Environment
- Territory:
- Springfield, IL or North Chicago, IL
- Field-based role:
- 4–5 days on the road
- Remaining days work from home
MUST HAVES:
- 1–2+ years of sales and/or customer service experience
- Outside/field sales experience required
- CRM experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism, urgency, and enthusiasm for working with others
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate multiple systems
- Ability to travel up to 4 hours round trip daily
NICE TO HAVES:
- Salesforce preferred
- Experience with sales, negotiation, or customer-facing roles is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Uncapped commission structure:
- $75 per partner application
- $150 when partner is “Ready to Launch”
- $125 after launch + 4 weeks
- $50/month phone stipend
- $72.5 per mile reimbursement
- Eligible for 2 weeks PTO after successful 6-month performance review
