What is Remote Salesforce Support?

Remote Salesforce Support refers to professional assistance provided by experts to help organizations manage, troubleshoot, and optimize their Salesforce platform from a remote location. These support specialists resolve technical issues, customize Salesforce features, and provide guidance on best practices without needing to be physically present at the client's office. Job description

Senior Business Systems Architect

Remote (Canada) | Hybrid Available - Kitchener, ON

Reports to: Director of Business Systems

Salary range: $110,000 - $130,000

About Encircle

Encircle is leading the $1.6 trillion property insurance industry out of the dark ages of pen and paper, into the digital age of transparency and empowerment. Our easy-to-use software platform enables thousands of restoration contractors and insurance professionals across North America to process claims faster and with greater accuracy. We're a remote-first company with a collaboration hub in downtown Kitchener-and we're growing.

About the Role

Business Systems is responsible for Encircle's revenue tech stack, and we're looking for a Senior Business Systems Architect to provide the architectural depth behind it. You'll help produce and translate a vision for the stack into clear, documented architecture, shape a collaborative and phased plan to get there, and ensure what we build holds together into effective, cohesive business functions. Our landscape is broad and still growing-anchored on Salesforce, supported by a cloud data warehouse, and spanning a wide set of go-to-market and finance tools.

You'll bring a strong understanding of business operations and revenue systems, and the ability to work directly within the tools that run them. A core part of the role is hands-on evaluation-diving into applications, validating their capabilities, and recommending the right tool for the job, with an eye toward a lean stack a small team can manage and consolidation where fewer tools would serve us better. This is a deeply hands-on, senior individual-contributor role: you own the detail across the stack's applications and integrations, always in collaboration with the Business Systems team and the wider business, and grounded in real strategy and needs, never in isolation.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

  • Help produce and translate a vision for the stack into clear, documented architecture-designing Salesforce and its surrounding tools to work as a coherent system rather than point solutions, with the standards and documentation that keep new work cohesive
  • Bring architectural depth to the end-to-end customer and user journey-from lead routing and quote (CPQ), through signature, provisioning (Entitlements Engine), billing and ledger, into customer success and renewal-influencing and guiding the teams who map it so the design stays on the right path

Data Platforms & Integration

  • Be the hands-on go-to for standing up and building out the core data platforms-the Snowflake data warehouse, Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) and orchestration, and Tableau analytics-getting data in, building it out, and working with stakeholders to ensure the data and capabilities they need exist
  • Define and steward the data model and source-of-truth across Salesforce, Snowflake, and the product database
  • Design the governed, scalable integration patterns that connect the CRM with go-to-market, finance, product, and data systems

Hands-On Tool Evaluation & Consolidation

  • Dive hands-on into applications to validate capabilities and understand their strengths and limitations, and confidently recommend the right tool for the job
  • Identify where the stack can be simplified or consolidated-fewer tools and integrations for a small team to manage-weighing fit, overlap, total cost of ownership, and build-vs-buy

Planning & Implementation

  • Shape and own a collaborative, phased plan for how the stack should evolve, working with Operations to define and prioritize the work
  • Stay entrenched in projects and in-flight implementation and operations work-understanding and contributing to the conversations, and guiding them onto the right architectural path
  • Ensure the architectural vision and details are carried through into what gets built, working hands-on in the core systems as needed

AI & Forward-Looking Architecture

  • Set the architecture and guardrails for applying AI and automation across the stack-in-platform (Agentforce) and standalone (Claude, Chat GPT, Gemini,
  • Look ahead to where AI and emerging capabilities are taking the stack, and design for that future rather than only today's tools

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in business systems, revenue operations systems, or enterprise/Salesforce application architecture
  • Deep Salesforce expertise (Sales Cloud, CPQ, data model, multi-cloud) with hands-on admin and configuration skills-comfortable building directly, not only designing (architect certifications a plus)
  • Hands-on experience standing up and building out data platforms-a data warehouse (Snowflake or similar), a CDP (such as Salesforce Data Cloud), and BI/analytics (Tableau or similar)-including getting data in, modeling it, ensuring quality, and meeting stakeholder needs
  • Integration-architecture experience across CRM and surrounding systems (APIs, middleware/iPaaS, event-driven)
  • Experience designing lead-to-cash / quote-to-cash processes end to end, and a track record of establishing architecture standards, governance, and design-review practices
  • Hands-on application evaluation-validating capabilities and weighing fit, overlap, and cost to recommend the right tools and consolidate where it helps
  • Familiarity and comfort using AI tools (Claude, Agentforce, ChatGPT, Gemini, and more), with the foresight to design for where the stack is heading
  • Strong communication and the ability to influence across functions without direct authority, balancing architectural leadership with hands-on delivery in a lean environment
  • Familiarity with the surrounding revenue stack (Sage Intacct, Maxio, Stripe, DocuSign, ChurnZero, Gong, Pendo, LeanData, Cloudingo, Data Cloud) and B2B SaaS / PropTech experience a plus

What You'll Gain at Encircle

  • A meaningful architectural role with the latitude to shape the architecture, standards, and tooling behind Encircle's revenue tech stack
  • Real complexity to work with-data, integrations, CPQ, CDP, and AI-and the chance to simplify it and help grow the team over time
  • High-impact, high-visibility work partnering with leadership across the business
  • The flexibility of a remote-first company with a strong culture of trust and transparency

Why Encircle?

We VALUE our people:

  • **Balance:** Flexible hours, self-managed vacation, and trust to manage your time
  • **Remote-first:** Work where you're most productive-with access to our collaboration hub in Kitchener
